Community Faith Partners was formed from a Calvary Baptist Church prayer group in 1999. Pastors and others from various churches came together every Saturday morning to pray, and share life with one another. The individuals in the group realized this was something special-that coming together in the name of Jesus from various denominations and backgrounds was a beautiful expression of the unity Scripture speaks. It was originally City Lights as the first project was providing lights to an apartment complex for safety.  From that beginning, Community Faith Partners was born out of this expression of unity, love, and peace, across racial and denominational lines but with a common love for God and neighbor.

Vision

We believe God has ALL the solutions our community needs and we look for volunteers who will make that vision a reality. We can always do more together than we can do separately, as individuals, as congregations, and community organizations. Care Days, Holistic Hardware-jail ministry, and unified prayer are examples of fruitful joint efforts to serve our community.

Our efforts will always be conducted in cooperation with congregations, businesses, and individuals in our community. We believe these entities are necessary for the long-term health and growth of every individual. CFP is a faith-based, non-profit 501(c)(3) started in 1999 and incorporated on October 5, 2000.
